Getting your business ready for Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching so it's a great time for you to start looking for ways to make the most of the busy holiday period. It's also quite a competitive time of the year with every business trying to get maximum sales so we have created a list of the top tips to help give your business an edge.

Read our blog post on our top 12 tips for a successful Christmas.

Producing video for your website

Last month, we talked about the importance of using video on your website. Video is a great way to drive traffic to your website and also convert these visitors into customers. If you missed out on the blog post, have a read here.

We realise that the idea of creating a video can be daunting for a lot of people, but it doesn't have to be. In reality, making an impromptu video can have a rawness to it which can have a lot of impact and not to mention, it can be a lot of fun - so the best thing to do is to give it a go. We've written an article with a few simple tips on how to go about producing your own videos.

Once your video is ready to go, just follow our step by step guide to embed it onto your Zeald website. Good luck!

Give a duck for charity

We've always wanted to create a 'learning' website that our consultants and staff can use to show our clients how the Zeald website system works. We also wanted to run experiments on it to show how you can use various techniques to get results from a website. So we decided to make a site dedicated to charity called 'Give a duck' - where you can buy little rubber ducks, give it to someone you love, and we'll give all the profits to a charity of your choice.

To kick off this website, we will be running a rubber duck race on 16th of December, which will be used to raise lots of money for charity. Read the details of the race here.

We'd love for you and your team to participate in this race - it will be fun, there will be prizes plus you'll get to donate to charity at the same time. And if you love the idea and would like to sponsor some of our prizes, please get in touch with us - we want to hear from you!

Thanks!

We hope you enjoyed the read. If you have any feedback for us, don't forget to post it in our Online Help - we love hearing from you! If you have any friends or colleagues who could use our help, please do let us know, and don't forget to check out our Friends & Supporters Club!

Thanks and hope your week goes well,

The Team at Zeald
