Answering Enquiries


Every time somebody makes an enquiry on your website, it gets lodged in the administration end of your website. You will receive an email notification (at your nominated email address) to prompt you to log into the administration end of your website and process the enquiry

You can find the enquiries submitted on your website by going to Enquiries > enquiries.

Enter an Enquiry manually


Sometimes it is necessary to enter an enquiry manually, for example if you were to take an enquiry on the phone and wanted to track the response or to have another site administrator answer it for you
  1. In the administration end of the website, click on the Enquiries tab
  2. Click on the Enter Enquiry tab
  3. Enter the customer's email address, first name and last name, the subject and type the enquiry in the Enquiry text box
  4. Click the Submit Enquiry button
  5. You will now see the enquiry in the pending Enquiries list
Please note: Any enquiries entered manually will be included in the overall Website Success Metrics found on the Dashboard

Answer an Enquiry

  1. In the administration end of the website, click on the Enquiries tab
  2. You will see a list of all enquiries. Select an enquiry by clicking on its enquiry number
  3. Enter your reply to the enquiry in the textbox
  4. Send your reply by clicking the Send button
  5. This will email your message to your prospective customer. The reply will land in the customer's email inbox as if it had come from your nominated email address. Once the reply has been sent, the enquiry will automatically be moved from the enquiries list to the answered enquiries list

Archive an Enquiry

  1. In the administration end of the website, click on the Enquiries tab
  2. Click on the Answered Enquiries tab
  3. Click in the check box to the left of the enquiry that you would like to archive. This will put a tick in the box. Click the Archive checked enquiries button
  4. The enquiry will be moved into the Archived Enquiries list

Delete an Enquiry

  1. In the administration end of the website, click on the Enquiries tab
  2. You can delete an enquiry by clicking the checkbox left to the enquiry. This can be done for both unanswered, answered and archived enquiries
    Please note: You should check carefully when deleting enquiries from the unanswered list!
  3. Click the Delete checked button
  4. A warning prompt will display requesting you to confirm the deletion of the enquiry from the system. Click on the OK button to confirm the deletion
  5. The enquiry will be totally deleted from your website

Managing the "Submit To" Page

 The "Submit To" page is the page where customers are redirected to after an enquiry form has been submitted.  You can manage the "Submit To" page via your website's Live Edit function:

  1. Click Show Editing Tools  to activate the live edit mode.

  2. Click the pencil icon on the Enquiry component.

  3. Scroll down to Content > Thanks Content to edit the text of the "Submit To" page.

  4. Click Save.  
 

Contact Form

 
  1. Click Show Editing Tools  to activate the live edit mode.
