If your customers forget or lose their password, they can reset their password themselves by clicking on the “Forgot password?” link on the login screen.
If a customer of yours contacts you and asks you for their password, you should ask them to reset their password themselves by clicking on the “Forgot password?” link at the bottom of the login screen.
They will be prompted to enter their Email address, First name & Last name
They will then receive an email with a link to reset their password
When they click on the link in the email they will be taken back to your website to the Reset password screen. They can then enter a new password, confirm it and click the Reset button to set a new password
It is not possible to retrieve a customers password from the backend of the website because it is encrypted in the database.
