Events
The Zeald e-commerce system is not an events booking or events management system. If you are organising events and want to sell tickets and take bookings for your event, then there are several areas where you may want to consider customising your Zeald website. Common scenarios that are specific to events systems, and are not included in the Zeald base system include:
- Booking on behalf of others. Typically one person makes the booking, but may also book also for other people who are attending the event
- Participant List. The facility to generate a list of people attending an upcoming event for administrative purposes
- 'Event Full' Notification and wait listing. Typically if an event is full the user is notified prior to booking and bookings above the event capacity are placed on a wait list
- Custom Event Data. Events typically have information that is specific to 'Event' type products, including start date and time, Location and Venue
- Cancellations and Transfers. A customer wishes to cancel their booking, or transfer from one event to another
- E-ticket. Sending an electronic booking confirmation to the customer upon booking
Zeald Solution:

Third Party Solutions:
There are various event booking and management systems available; in New Zealand a major software provider in this area is
www.arlo.co. Internationally a major provider is
www.eventbrite.com.
Note that data captured by a third party solution will not integrate in any way with your Zeald website - data will exist in a separate database which will need to be managed independently from your Zeald website. Note that Zeald does not support third party products, contact the third party software provider for support.
